Jade was invited to serve as the Guest Artist and Keynote speaker for the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theater and Dance’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration in January. At the main event Jade spoke and performed around the theme, The Art of Impact. She was also joined onstage for a performance with Stuart Carlson, an award-winning violinist/composer studying at the University of Michigan. The mini residency had Jade speaking on career development to students in the ? Program and sharing her experiences as a performing artist at the department’s Piano Forum Series.
